Thanks Bradley-great technical support. He was able to test my circuit board and help me determine that I had a bad limit switch. Couple phone calls and trips to their store in Naples to get parts and advice. And great and friendly cashier at front desk handling my purchases and a return. Will never think of buying a controller or parts from anywhere but there!

The only thing better then the features and quality of Gem remotes is the support!! I replaced my aging controller on my lift with a Gem remote. I specifically chose this brand because I liked the fact that it was much smaller then my previous control box, and more importantly, it featured an auto stop feature in both the up and down directions. The controller and the auto stop limit switch came very well packed. Living near by, I decided to drive to their store to pick it up. Bradley was very helpful recommending the proper unit and Stop-Limit switch. The package comes with instructions but they were a bit complicated for me. They include wiring instructions for just about every lift and motor manufacturer but I could not tell what was on my lift. One call to Bradley and he was able to talk me through he installation. God Bless his patience. He is truly remarkable and very knowledgeable. After installing the unit, I discovered that the remote has a much longer range then the remote on my original lift controller. I was so pleased with the product that I bought another controller to replace the one on my 2nd lift. I have also recommended it to my neighbors and four of them

Have had my lift over saltwater for many years. Called support because I got a new remote and my panel had the learn button go bad. Bradley have me his cell phone and talked me through programming my remote without the panel working. So now my lift works perfect. Amazing customer support. The even better part is the replacement panel is only $30. So they don't try to gouge you on replacement parts or push unnecessary upgrades. There is literally nothing in the boating space that isn't overpriced over sell, except for this remote box. I was prepared to drop a grand just to get this thing working, that's just how boat stuff works. These guys are great.

Tech Support is top notch. Speaks well for the company. Level switch was tripping circuit breaker. Had nothing to do with their product, but he mentioned the cause is usually from a bad motor start capacitor. He had the right answer.

Warranty claims will be denied! I purchased two GEM control box less than a year ago and the auto-stop portion of the circuit board looked like it overheated. The owner, Richard, first explained that it appears not to have been installed properly b/c it only used 5 volts, which would not cause the small portion of the circuit board to overheat. Richard changed his story after I informed him the installer was someone his company recommended. He then agreed to call the electrician to discuss. Afterwards, now the company says the damage was caused by an 'act of God' (e.g. lightening). Weird the unit still worked other than auto-stop and the other lift unit was never impacted. I have a different electrician reviewing the photos taken before submitting damaged unit back to GEM. More to come....
